Summer, extended: October at Peligoni

Peligoni announces more Olympic guests & sporting experts for PACE II & III, and gears up for a family Half Term finale

As the crowds disperse, October reveals a different side to Peligoni. With temperatures in the mid-twenties and the sea still warm enough for swimming, it’s arguably one of the best times to visit, as the season rounds off in style. Join one of the two PACE wellness weeks, or take the family for one last Half Term escape in the Greek sunshine.

Returning for two weeks this year, PACE will welcome an impressive line-up of Olympic champions, sporting talent, and wellness experts, including cycling legend Sir Chris Hoy, triathlon champion Jonny Brownlee, and Olympic swimmer Dan Wallace. Guest chef Ixta Belfrage will also head to the island to host a series of special feasts inspired by the flavours of the Mediterranean.

Then the club shifts back into family mode, giving families one last chance to catch the Greek sunshine before winter arrives. Here are the highlights.

October half term, 17 October-1 November

October Half Term is when Peligoni shifts back into family mode. With temperatures typically still sitting in the mid-twenties and the sea still warm enough for swimming, October Half Term offers all the benefits of a summer holiday without the peak season crowds.

Days are spent sailing, paddle boarding, exploring hidden coves, or joining age-specific activities, before everyone comes back together for good food and relaxed evenings.

Alongside a roster of activities for all ages (4 months to teenagers), TARKA will once again be leading the childcare activities for 6-10 year olds. With an emphasis on physical activity and fun, older children can enjoy activities including the Peligoni Olympics, the Poseidon Pool Party, and Secret Spy, with every session finishing with stretching and breathing exercises – a signature part of the TARKA approach.

New for this year, a partnership with LUNE & WILD means little ones in the crèche are served freshly prepared, organic meals inspired by Mediterranean flavours.

Designed with flexibility in mind, families can dip in and out of childcare throughout the day, whether that's for a morning on the water, a long lunch or simply an hour to unwind. Small group sizes help children quickly make friends, while Petit Peligoni, babysitting, and Rascals – the club's popular all-day option for four- and five-year-olds – ensure there’s support for every stage of family life.

October villa highlights

Several of Peligoni’s favourite villas still have availability during October, offering everything from a new cluster of suites, perfect for PACE, to larger houses designed for multi-generational family gatherings.

BRAND-NEW: KELIO (sleeps 12), from £6,035 per week

Best for: Multiple families or groups of friends

Kelio is the latest villa to join Peligoni’s collection. A sleek, modern hillside hideaway, this is a villa that’s been designed with summer freedom in mind. With sea views from almost every corner, open-plan entertaining spaces, and a pool made for sunset swims, it’s great for large multi-gen groups or multiple families – complete with a fun basement room for teens.

BRAND-NEW: KELIO SUITES (sleeps 2-6 / 3 suites), from £3,155 per week

Best for: PACE wellness gurus

Kelio Suites are a collection of three hillside hideaways. Sleeping two guests, they each have their own fully equipped kitchen, private terrace, and swimming pool. Ideal for couples looking to have their own hidden corner of Zakynthos, these suites have a minimum stay of only three nights.

ALLEGRA (sleeps 8), from £2,900 per week

Best for: Multi-gen families

Allegra has something for everyone – a private, peaceful setting up in the hills, a freshwater infinity pool, and even a bunk bedroom for the kids’ holiday sleepovers. Allegra’s big-sister villa, Livadi (sleeps 10), is also right next door, ideally located fo spreading larger groups across two properties.

SUOLO (sleeps 6), from £3,500 per week

Best for: Little ones

Traditional stone architecture combines with modern interiors to make Suolo a truly remarkable option. While away the hours beside the pool, lounging on the daybeds and soaking up sun-drenched sea views. All on one level, it’s great for little ones, too.
