*New restaurant* Weezie’s officially opens in Eccleston Yards
A new contender on London’s pizza scene, from the team behind amie and amie wine studio
Weezie’s officially opened in Eccleston Yards on Friday 10th April 2026 – the latest venture from amie founders Abbie Roden and Will Sandbach. Already drawing a crowd with its soft launch, Weezie’s is set to be the spot for thin-crust pizzas, shareable small plates, cold pints, and an exclusive Weezie’s orange wine.
Designed as an all-day dining destination perfect for everything from a quick slice to a long, sun-soaked lunch or evening drinks with friends, Weezie’s takes its name from Abbie’s Kentuckian grandmother, Louise – affectionately known as ‘Weezie’.
The menu keeps things simple but seriously good: crisp, thin-crust pizzas made with Wildfarmed regeneratively farmed flour and a lineup of small plates, all made with top British ingredients.
Standouts include:
LOADED CRISPS: Torres crisps, aged ham, guindillas, cornichons, parmesan dusting
SOBRASADA PIZZA: tomato base, fior di latte mozzarella, Curing Rebels sobrasada, swirled charred creamed sweetcorn, hot honey drizzle, parmesan dusting, fresh parsley
WHITE HOT (V): white base, fior di latte mozzarella, teardrop peppers, hot honey, West London stracciatella, Calabrian chillies
CHOCOLATE MOUSSE (V) topped with cold-pressed olive oil and sea salt flakes
Don’t skip the dips – particularly Weezie’s buttermilk ranch, a nostalgic nod to Abbie’s Kentucky roots and the kind of thing that makes crust-dipping non-negotiable.
The space is bright and relaxed, with vintage and reclaimed furniture, a polished steel bar, and artwork by Kara Marshall alongside pieces created by the team, including Saffron Skipper. Abbie’s own photography features throughout, with hand-painted tiles by Flora de Boinville and a cabinet of curiosities filled with photos, keepsakes and nods to Weezie – including a framed pair of her glasses – giving the space a personal, lived-in feel. All fabrics in the Weezie's space are Fermoie with COAT paints on the walls, and Rupert Bevan wallpapers in the bathrooms. Outside, tables spill into the courtyard, flowing seamlessly into amie wine studio next door.
Drinks are designed to match the food: Guinness on tap, Harbour Brewery beers, a small but precise cocktail list including negronis, spicy margaritas, and an old fashioned made with Kentucky straight bourbon. A bespoke orange wine has been created exclusively for Weezie’s and is poured by the glass alongside amie’s full range of delicious wines.
Inside, Weezie’s is relaxed, cosy and buzzy; outside, the courtyard has long tables that fill up fast – people lingering, drinks turning into dinner and one slice into several. It’s walk-in only (unless booking for 8+), with takeaway pizzas to go to launch soon.
Abbie and Will first met in New York, where pizza was the backdrop to their dates. Eight years on, Weezie’s brings that same spirit to London, a talked about spot built around people, pizza, wine and pints.
